Beetle Adventure Racing/HSV Adventure Racing

Known Issues (what is a 'known issue'?)
  • video
    • missing framebuffer scrolling film transition effect between menu screens
    • sometimes screen may be covered in black pattern - workaround: recommend using v1.5.2 plugin.
    • some extra effects work in v1.6 that don't in previous, so take your pick or try a 3rd party plugin.
    • car colour incorrect:: Use legacy pixel pipeline  not a fix though (see below for details) you may get better results from v1.5.2 plugin. however,

v1.6 video plugin
 default settings
legacy pixel pipeline
 enabled

When using legacy pixel pipeline, your car will then be in colour but all the ones you are racing will then be white so not really a great option there to fix i am afraid.

Just a follow up to this:

I have been playing this constantly over the last day and realised just how bad this is with Jabo Video.

As a default plugin it is really quite shocking because it is no way compatible as Smiff originally put and should have been needs video plugiin because the black screen in some of the tracks just makes it unplayable.

Luckily for us Glide has this spot on with not only the car colours but also this black unplayable sections so this now gets entered as use 3rd party plugin with core issues listed.

see below for jabo on Mount Mayhem and Then it on Glide.

I have also included a save to see the difference on hsv and beetles U.
