Need to investigate why Mario Kart 64 (U) has a sped up two player mode (or three and four player) on the map D.K.'s Jungle Parkway.
The (E) 1.0 version appears to have some problems as well, it crashed on a few occasions.

It turns out D.K.'s Jungle Parkway and Moo Moo Farm are faster based on the number of players.
It was done that way to compensate for the N64's sluggishness on these 2 race tracks.
PJ64 however runs the game at a full 30 or 25 fps depending on region so we're left with extremely fast game play.
Gent is looking into the possibility of using a permanent cheat to better mimic the N64's speed on these 2 race tracks.
