1080 Snowboarding issues
« on: February 14, 2012, 02:30:04 PM »
If 4P controller is plugged in, game is not boot.
this problem has Jabo's DInput 1.5, 1.6 and  latest 1.6.1_10.09.2011.

This may have to do with the fact the game is a 2player and has no support for 3-4.

I am guessing this a Game issue with that many inputs rather then a direct Jabo direct input issue.

I am not sure what is happening in this game but it appears to be mempak related.
If you have all four controllers plugged in there is no problem as long as controller 4 does not have a mempak for Jabo's plugin.
This does not matter for NRage's plugin.

I am looking right now to see what the difference is and to see if there is something I can do about it.

Yes, this is an emulation bug and not a plugin issue.
Other plugins get around the problem by handling things through raw input.
Jabo's does not have that option so the bug is revealed.

I may have to do a small rewrite of PIF to better understand what is going on.
Sadly this will not make it into the Dec 25th beta.

You can confirm this by unticking raw input on nrage's plugin for controller 4 (make sure it is plugged in!) with the mempak set.
